General Facts –
• Leaves are intensely splashed with silver.
• Flowers are clusters of pale yellow, sweet-smelling, pale yellow
with pink centers.
• Native to tropical southeast Asia.
• Can tolerate slightly lower levels of humidity.
• A moderate grower.
• Quick blooming.
• Flowers have a sweet fragrance.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Temperature: The ideal range is between 70-75°F. Avoid drafts and sudden
temperature fluctuations, as these can cause new leaves, flowers, and growth to abort.
Humidity: Moderate humidity. This species can adapt to lower humidity levels.
Watering: Allow to dry thoroughly and then water and saturate the entire soil column.
Fertilizer: Weekly during regular growing cycle – summer and fall. Every 3 weeks
during winter. I use 100 ppm of Nitrogen at every irrigation. Use balanced houseplant
fertilizer.
Habit: Vining habit. Trains well to a trellis.
Insects and Disease: Aphids, Mealy Bugs, Whitefly, and root rot.
